Face Gears Applications :
Face Gears are used in aerospace drive system. They are used to transfer power between intersecting shafts as found in helicopter rotor transmission. They are also effective with insufficient lubrication, thus increasing the reliability of the aircraft. They also work with bad alignment between pinion and the rotor gear.
